Hey there! Well let's have a yack about Ground Spiders. These tiny fellows usually live underneath bark, rocks and other warm spots on the ground and come out only to hunt at night. You may even see some in your home in winter as they look for warm spots to rest.

Trapdoor Spiders: (Ctenizidae) are quite crafty. They construct hidden doors to ambush their prey. While its bites are quite rare, its tenacious and hard-chomping jaws can hurt a little when it does bite, generally only resulting in pain and swelling and, on rare occasions, nausea.

Mouse Spiders: (Missulena) enjoy establishing burrows near rivers. In fact, the exact same antivenom administered to treat Funnel-web spiders is also effective at treating Mouse Spider bites due to their venom being similar.

Wolf Spiders: are the explorers of Australia, found in leaf litter or burrows and frequently turning up in lawns and gardens. Their bites are generally harmless but may be painful or cause itchiness, and in rare cases, symptoms like swelling or dizziness.

And then there’s the Funnel Spider, which is famous for its venom. According to Wayne himself, the males are especially deadly and possess venom significantly more potent than that of the females.
